This is where most of the value leaks away. Photographs sitting in a phone gallery are:
- Impossible to find against a specific booking three months later.
- Lost when the phone is lost, sold, or runs out of storage.
- Not accessible to whoever is dealing with the dispute if it is not you.
- Mixed in with the last two hundred handovers, in date order, with nothing marking which is
which.
Whatever else you do, the photographs need to be attached to the booking, not to the day.
The question you will ask is never "what did I photograph on the 14th of June". It is "what
condition was the Innova in when Mr Santos took it."
If you are keeping them in a phone gallery, at minimum create an album per booking and name it
with the customer and the date. It is clumsy but it works.
